simbang gabi

ilan lang sa kung ano ano pang hiwaga ang bumabalot sa madaling araw. hehehe.. but what i'm really referring to is the pinoy tradition, simbang gabi.

facebook's cartoon profile picture

"Change your facebook profile picture to a cartoon from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same. Until monday (Dec.6) there should be no human faces on facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is for violence against children. pls. support tnx!!‌"

that was the message i received from my cousin last wednesday when i opened up my facebook account. i just ignored it like other spam messages that she is sending me thinking that its just one of her 'walang-magawa-sa-facebook' moment. but thru the day, i notice that most of my friends on facebook are really changing their profile pics to a cartoon character, even my office mates keep on bugging me on what emo cartoon character will i be changing it to since my identifier in the office is the emo guy hence i just look like an emo due to my emo hairstyle (does it sounds like im somewhat defensive?!?!!).

so since it was for a good cause, a supposedly campaign for violence against children, i gave in to the frenzy and reminisce what cartoons am i watching when i was a kid. zenki was the anime character i choose since other cartoon characters that i can think of is already someone's profile pic. this made me really think of my childhood days where i just watch those afternoon cartoons on tv after school. my office mates also had fun naming those cartoons from the 90's and 80's. it really brings back old memories :)

at the end of the day, around 80% of my facebook friends had changed their profile pic to a cartoon character. this latest facebook's meme-for-a-cause has really caught the attention of all facebook users. i wonder who started it and if its really for the violence against children campaign.

the answers were provided by facebook itself, hehe.. a friend of mine posted a video, eto ang dahiLan kng bakit nag paLit tayo ng primary picture which shows a boy in a cartoon character form being comically beaten by his dad, as what the audience's laughter in the background suggests. at the end of this video, he gets thrown down the stairs but then changed into a human boy lying down lifeless, with "the real children don't bounce back" tagline written. its a really sad video and this made me proud of being part of this change profile pic campaign.

but, another friend of mine posted a news from gma7, Facebook cartoon profile pics: A hijacked meme. it reports that this is just a hoax and there's no event or anything related to "violence against children" within this week until monday and that its still unknown who and how this all started. now i don't know what really the deal is.

whether its just for fun or not, whether you did change it for supporting the said cause or not, it all boils down on how you sees it. as for me, its still basically your own facebook account so you can do whatever you want with it :D

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

im really not a harry potter fanatic but since the first movie amazed me with its weird and magical world of wizardry, i crave to watch the sequel, the third film and look forward to watch all of its franchise. i haven't read all the books yet due to priorities and time constraint, hehehe.. but one day i will :D

here's my take on the most recent harry potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

 - the story is incomplete :D (hence this is only part one and you will be craving to watch the last installment just like me)
 - special effects and computer graphics, as always, are superb. local films doesn't even come close to it. loved the part were they all transform into harry.

 - i also agree that the film is much scary and it doesn't seem to be child-friendly anymore, more of a teen pop flick. nevertheless, the dark and eerie setting makes it more like a suspense/thriller movie which is my fave genre and this adds more drama and emotion to the film.
 - great actors played their part well, i really like how bad ass helena bonham carter is. this harry potter franchise also let us watched how daniel radcliff and the others grew up literally and evolve. i remember seeing the first film where they were all small like toddlers from a crib :)
 - overall, i would give it 8 out of 10. hope you enjoyed watching it too..

zombie strikes again

gustong matulog,
gustong kumain,
gustong mapahinga
NGUNIT...
kailangang gumising,
kailangang magtrabaho,
kailangang paganahin ang utak at isip.

hayyy, buhay nga naman parang life. face the consequences or the consequences will face you > anong koneksyon? gulo ko talaga.hehehe..

3B RESORT

dahil sa bday ni khanto, bonggang birthday celebration ang idinaos sa isang resort sa antipolo kasama ng kanyang buong angkan at kaming kaofismates niya. hawaiian theme pala ang party pero hindi naman kami nasabihan dahil pauso lang daw un ng kapatid niya. anyways, after our shift, we then go to the place na may kalayuan din from our office.

3b resort

Makansutra Asian Food Village and WhiteMoon Bar

continuation...

makansutra asian food village

located sa second floor ng manila ocean park ang makasuntra, medyo nkakaligaw lang hanapin ang escalator/elevator or ganun lang talaga pag first time mo sa isang place. as its name suggest, asian food ang specialty dito. hindi nga ako makapili ng kakainin dahil kakaiba ang mga names sa menu ngunit meron din namang pinoy food. affordable din naman ang meals nila ranging from 100 up at may group meals din na pagpipilian. kanya-kanya kami ng order and i ordered chicken blah blah (forgot the name). ok naman ang food plus the great ambiance. hindi nga lang asian look ang place (akala ko kasi asian village dahil sa nama nito) pero ok naman dahil spacious at may kalakihan din ang place. sa center nakalocate ang kitchen so makikita mo kung paano niluluto ang food. after diner, we decide to move sa katabing bar nito, ang whitemoon bar, kung saan open air na swak dahil yosing-yosi na ako..

white moon bar

an open-air bar that looks over the manila bay, astig! magandang spot ito for 'manila bay sunset' viewing pero gabi kami pumunta so no sunset view. ganun pa man, ok ang place wag lang umulan dahil lilipat kayo sa side kung saan me bubong. ganyan ang nangyari sa'min dahil umambon nun at no choice kami but to move sa gilid, comfy pa naman un couch nila na sarap tambayan habang nakikipagkwentuhan. for the drinks, i think same bar drinks ang kanilang offer at affordable din ang price. ndi ko lang masyadong natutukan ang price dahil enjoy ako sa place at music ng kanilang dj.

Mini-reunion, Reminisce, Manila Ocean Park, etc..

puyat sa gimik last friday..

dahil umuwi galing cebu ang isa naming classmate sa elementary, nagkasundo na magkaroon ng meet-and-greet ala grade school reunion. naging mini-reunion nga ito ng batch namin nun elementary dahil may mga first time na magkikita-kita after ng graduation namin nun grade school, at isa ako dun.
its been a while since makita ko ulet sila, dahil na rin sa hindi ko pagpunta kung meron man silang lakad sapagkat busy akong tao, hehehe..

manila ocean park

reminisce ...

blog to be continued..

tamang inom: central bbq

total bill: 1,7++ php worth of 12 pitcher ng iba't ibang drinks, 5 sets ng pulutan, at walang humpay na saya at amats. i think i lost count of the actual number ng alak at pagkain. highly recommended for those who want to be wasted pero nagtitipid.

check out their menu at ang nakatuwang description ng kanilang drinks from this link:

fave romantic comedy/ lovestory

i admit, i also watch those cheesy movies, the type that you would watch with your special someone and cuddle up inside the movie house.
so here's the second listing, the top romantic comedy and chessy love story movies...

1. 50 first dates - the second movie tandem of adam sandler and drew barrymore, a woman with short term memory loss due to an accident and the boyfriend that makes her fall each day.

2. city of angels - an all-time favorite classic. nicholas cage, an angel who fell in love with a mortal and decides to become human to be with meg ryan. i also love the soundtrack of this film, iris by goo goo dolls.

3. 500 days of summer - at first i thought that summer is the setting of this movie but its in fact the name of the lead female role who then falls in love and out of it with tom. i love the way that the scenes are presented on a non-chronological format that will keep you guessing what is next or why did that happened. here's the famous line from that film which really is a heart-breaker, i woke up one morning and i just knew. knew what? what i was never sure of with you.

4. serendipity - fate/destiny binds two people together is what this film wants to implies. a must watched movie for those who are desperately looking for the right one :D

5. valentine's day (2010) - pack with an all star cast, this film tackles on relationships, break-ups, falling in love, falling out of love, true love, and all things that has the word love and that came with love.

6. music and lyrics - hugh grant and drew barrymore team up to compose a hit song and they ended up falling in love with each other. with the cheesy love song, way back into love, this movie is for those cuddling-up moments :)

7. my bestfriend's wedding - an all-time favorite classic. my mother was a julia roberts fan and watching this film with her made me a julia robert fan as well. the film is about falling in love with your bestfriend who is going to marry someone.

8. letters to juliet - inspired by the play romeo and julie, with a romatic setting of verona and parts of Italy, this film is about finding true love and knowing "what if".

list to be populated once i remember those films that i watched and loved :D

fave slasher movie

since wala nanaman akong maiisip na topic at its been quite a while since my last blog, i needed something para makasurvive ang bloggingpuyat..
and here's what i came up with. dahil mahilig ako sa movies at isa akong couch potato, i will run down my favorite movies na napanood ko so far. here's the first list...

fave horror/slasher movies

1. the texas chainsaw massacre (2003) - huge disfigured killer, chainsaw, insane cannibal family,  creepy torture basement, screaming teenager, plus jessica biel equals a great slasher movie. watch it to find out what i'm saying :D

2. scream - isang movie tungkol sa buhay ni sidney at ang psycho serial killer na laging puno ng twist kung sino ba talaga ang nakamaskara. with an all-star cast and cameo roles, this film really brings out the scream in you.

3. i know what you did last summer - ang killer fisherman na nagre-revenge sa pagkamatay ng kanyang anak dahil sa roadtrip ng magbabarkada (tama ba ang synopsis ko?). basta its filled with suspense chase of the killer and its victims.

4. house of wax -  a group of teenager trapped in a ghost town that host a house of wax and two murderous brothers that turns their victims into wax figures. this films stars elisha cuthbert and chad micheal murray.

5. halloween - with micheal myers, the mentally psychotic killer, who could have ask for more

6. nightmare on elm street - freddy krueger, the most scariest of all and one of my most fave antagonist. isang disfigured dream stalker na gamit lang ay razor blades sa kamay para patayin ang mga natutulog sa panaginip.

7. scream 2 - following the popularity of the first film, the sequel is pack with more suspense, twist and of course, blood and screams.

8. freddy vs. jason - ang showdown ng dalawang sa pinaka-terrifying slasher icons, the razor versus the blade.

9. psycho - a psychotic killer running an old motel where his victims checks in

10. urban legends - a group of teenagers die exactly like the urban legends

...and the list goes on and on. i'll just edit this post once i remember those movies that made me scream literally :D

Grown Ups

"play life just like you play that game today so when that final buzzer of life goes off, you'll have no regrets" - Coach Buzzer.
GROWN UPS, a hilarious comedy film about friends, family and life.

the movie started when five friends win their basketball game with the help of their coach, it was at their celebration party when coach said the inspirational line above. 30 years after, each living their own separate lives, they learned that their loved coach has passed away. together with their own families, they were reunited together at the coach's funeral. watch out for the funny comments they exchange as they saw one another. i also laugh hard at Rob Schneider's Ave Maria song. Lenny (Adam Sandler) rent a lake house in which they all spend the 4th of July together. There starts the chaos and fun of five families living under one roof, reminiscing the bond of good old friends, and spending quality time with their own families.

my take on the film: a wacky, laugh out riot when you combine an all star comedy actors which includes Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade and Rob Schneider, that gives life to each individual characters that they portray. not only that it tickles your funny bone, this film also has moral values and i must say that its family oriented as well. i do love how this film bring on the concept of how kids of today's generation are into computers and technology that they forgot how to have fun just like the good old times.

this is a must see movie for those who doesn't remember how their laugh sounds. i would promise you that you'll enjoy this film with all the funny puchlines, great actors and cool relaxing setting.  have fun!

The Last Airbender

in a divided world where the fire nation is at war against the earth kingdom, water tribes and air nomads; a young boy is set to find his path to become the avatar (narrated in a deep voice with sound effects at the end of the sentence). what a nice opening spiel for this movie.hehehe.. just watched The Last Airbender and here's my review on it.

the movie plot. narrated by a water bender, katara who lives in the southern water tribe, it started on how they free aang, an airbender, and the gigantic out of this world creature as well as the name so i forgot what it is. zuko, the prince of the fire nation saw the sign of how they unfreeze aang from a frozen iceberg and immediately went to the water tribe with his soldiers. there they find aang and take him with them. on zuko's ship, they discovered that aang is the last airbender and the avatar, the one that can bend all elements. they want to keep aang because zuko is being exiled by his father unless he finds the avatar. with this, aang escapes and was also rescued by katara and his brother whom have been told by their grandmother that aang maybe the avatar. since aang only knows how to bend air, he must train to bend the other elements: water, earth and fire. this started their journey to the northern water tribe to seek help. do watch the film for the complete story, don't want to be a spoiler :D

the film was based on the hit animated tv series 'avatar: the last airbender'. i just watched one episode of it and that really is a good cartoon series. my loss since i did not find time to watch all the episodes. with regard to the special effects, hollywood film never fails to amaze me. you'll find awesome effects on this film specially when they bend the water, fire and soil. fight scenes are also good. there are a lot of martial arts and those taichi-yoga stuff (dunno how to call it) that you'll see on parks where an elderly sways his arms and do awkward positions. loved the stop-slowmo-play-freeze motion of aang during the battle on the northern water tribe.

i did heard some bad reviews on this film and some of my friends who watched it did not like it either. it was not that bad though its not that good as well. what i look at it is that its a children's movie and not for young adults or literally adults. i think they are expecting more from this film which the movie fails to give because for me, this movie turns out to be just for kids; a simple story, young actors, cuddly gigantic out of this world creatures, no gory fight scenes, etc. as the animated series is for kids, then this film is also for kids. enjoy :)

TOY STORY 3

puyat sa movie marathon.. a movie about toys, as what the title implies. sabi nila nakakaiyak itong film na 'to so i was eager to watch it kung iiyak din ba ako. backtrack muna tayo sa una at pangalawang film dahil hindi mabubuo ng 3 kung wala ang 1 at 2.

Buzz Lightyear was first introduced as an addition to Andy's toys in Toy Story 1. His presence is taken as a threat by Woody (a cowboy toy) on who will be the favorite toy of them all because Buzz is more equiped with action features rather than him being a plain old doll. tama ba ang pagkakarecall ko? wala kasi akong matandaan sa unang film. panoorin ninyo na lang ulet kasi papanoorin ko na lang din :D

the sequel, Toy Story 2, is about how Woody was saved from a doll collector who wants to sell him and be put in a museum. Buzz, together with the other toys, went on an adventure filled with fun in rescuing their friend. Jessie, a cowgirl toy, is introduced in this film. i would say that the sequel is better than the first one kasi naman hindi ko na matandaan un story nun first film unlike the second one where i could remember some funny scenes.

Toy Story 1 was shown on 1995 while the sequel was on 1999. siguro isa yun sa dahilan kung bakit nakalimutan ko agad yung first film dahil 3 years after nasundan. Toy Story 3 was made this year and with today's technology, i must say that the animation is far better than the others.

on with the movie plot: in Toy Story 3, Andy is going to college and needs to decide what to do with his old toys, either to dump them or be stocked in the attic.
          (place movie plot here)

.....tinamad nanaman magkwento, puyat kasi ako, excuses, hehehe.. basta panoorin nyo na lang to know what happened and to be entertained as well dahil they never forget to put in a good humor that will keep you laughing as what the first and the sequel does.

lesson learned: learned to let go and moved on. watched out for the last scene of the film dahil heart-warming nga talaga. hindi naman din kasi madaling bitawan ang mga bagay na napalapit na sayo, kahit simpleng bagay na naging parte ng buhay mo. kung ganun na lang ang feelings ng mga toys, what more pa kaya kung taong mahal mo ang nawala. (Shift + End + Delete) kailangan burahin dahil umaatake ang pagging emo.

my take on this film: a movie to watch with your kids, dahil animated film ito at magugustuhan ng mga kids kasi nga tungkol sa mga toys. but its for the young at heart din so pasok pa din ako dito. seriously, i like the storyline, on the way the movie progress. plus it never failes to tickle my funny bone. recommended for someone who doesn't let go. enjoy and have a good laugh at the movie house :D

Killers

puyat sa movie marathon.. another movie review on a recent film that i watched, wag nyo ng tanungin kung saan basta kakapanood ko lang nito.

the KILLERS is about an agent who settles down when he met his love in the romatic setting of France. ang cheesy nung line na 'yun kasi naman romatic film pala ito na hinaluan ng action at konting comedy. tuloy sa movie plot: after 3 years of a normal married life, Spencer (Ashton Kutcher) was contacted by his old boss but did not want to become an assassin again and ruin his normal married life with Jen (Katherine Heigl) who doesn't even know that his old work. this started the plot to hunt down and kill Spencer by the Killers (queue the fight scenes with Spencer's workmates, neighbors and people that they know) and eventually exposing his real job to Jen and ending up the film with a revelation of whoever wants Spencer dead and the real truth on their lives.
...and they lived happily ever after :)

my take on this film, 7.5 out of 10 because the whole movie itself is quite good. it does have an easy and simple storyline, hindi sobrang complicated ang takbo ng movie. a good choice of background music (loved the 'just say yes' soundtrack). i known ashton thru comedy films and this one is not entirely a comedy film, pede din pala siya sa serious roles. katherine hiegl still is the sweetest thing, pa-tweetums kasi ang role nya dito just like '27 dresses'. so, sa mga stressed at gustong marelax, pede na sa inyo 'tong movie. very light lang din kasi ang fight scenes at walang bloodshed or violence na makakadagdag sa stressful mong utak, hehe..Enjoy!

ECLIPSE: the twilight saga

Just recently watched "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" last weekend and i must say that its another teen flick. I may not be a twilight fanatic but i did enjoy some of the scenes in this film.

a lil' bit of history

The first movie was "Twilight" in which I was eager to watch because of the movie's trailer and that I am into the horror and suspense genre. At the end of the movie, I didn't really liked it because it does not meet my expectation. I was hoping for blood and those vampire stuff but the movie focuses on the romance between Edward and Bella making it a romantic film rather that those horror/suspense. Later did i know that its a fil, adaptation of a book with the same title by Stephanie Meyer which really focuses on the lovestory of the two main casts. The movie is about how the two lovebirds get to know each other and fall in love though their indifferences.

The second installment was "New Moon". as expected, another romatic teen flick. It was more entertaining in the book than the movie as what my sister says for she did not enjoyed the film and quoted that some important scenes did not make it to the film.

the third installment

The Eclipse's plot revolves around a revengeful vampire that is setting up a soldier of new born vampires to kill the Bella and the Cullens. Mortal enemies, the Cullens and Jacob's pack, formed an alliance to protect Bella. Another interesting part of this movie is the love triangle between Edward, Bella and the persistent Jacob. Its comical on how Jacob still insist his undying love for Bella eventhough she already choose Edward.
The "I'm hotter than you" Jacob line makes the movie house filled with laughs. Its the scene where they camp out for safety on a cold mountain making it look like 'Brokeback Mountain' set-up.
The morning after, the setting looks like a scene from Narnia, a snow covered mountain with a big bad wolf :D
"Bella's a bitch!" a convicting shout heard on the movie house when Bella kissed Jacob at that Narnia setting eventhough she's engaged with Edward :D

My take on this movie, "Not another teen flick". I'm sure that teenagers in love, out-of-love, hoping for love, and other phrase that has the word love, will surely like this film and will even more be bitten by the Twilight craze. If you're into cheesy pick-up lines, romatic candlelight dinner, and long walks on the beach, then this is the movie suited for you. Enjoy cuddling up with your movie seatmate.

200 for overnight swim at 100 for day swim. ayos! nakalibre ako :D

aircon room ang nakareserve para samin, me sariling toilet/bathroom na ito. good for 4-6 pax for only P3,000 at 24 hours na iyon. not bad, mura na considering na ovenight kami from 10am to 10am the next day.

5 precints rolled into 1

IRON MAN 2

Puyat sa kakapanood ng movie..
April 30, unang showing day ng "Iron man 2" sa mga sinehan dito sa pinas kaya minarapat namin panoorin ito agad dahil isa ito sa pinakaabangang movie ko. As usual, puno nanaman ang malls dahil natapat pa ito sa Friday at payday pa. Talaga namang pinipilahan ang iron man.

The movie started with how Iron man bought peace worldwide making him popular and is proven when Tony Stark opens the Stark Expo, ang scene kung saan parang noontime show na may nagsasayawang babae. The US government wants the iron man suit for their own military use but Tony refuses having his rival Justin Hammer (who tries on recreating an iron man suit but fails) being humiliated on a Senate hearing. The arc reactor that Tony use to keep his heart beating is poisoning him due to its palladium content. Having done everything he could, Tony can't find a replacement and it slowly kills him. With that in mind, he made Pepper Potts the CEO of Stark Industries. This results in hiring Natalie Rushman who is played by Scarlett Johansson (kailangan ko siyang banggitin dahil ang ganda niya mula pa nun The Island). In a car race in Monaco, Tony came face-to-face with Ivan Vanko who created his own reactor improved with an electrical whip that cuts everything like a laser (astig! I also want one) but he was of course, defeated by iron man. Ivan is the son of Anton Vanko who collaborated with Tony's father, Howard Stark in designing the first arc reactor. With this incident, Hammer helps Vanko escape from prison so that he can create his own drones with Vanko's help but on one condition, "I want my burd!" as Ivan said referring to his pet bird in Russia.
And the movie continues on, ayoko na magkuwento, panoorin nyo na lang sa sine.

This sequel was even better than the first! Sobrang nagustuhan ko talaga at gusto ko pang ulitin on 3D, regular movie lang kasi yung pinanood namin and I think its better viewed on 3D. I really like the car race scene where Vanko slashed the racing cars, galing ng effects. And also the scene where Iron Man and War Machine are fighting the drones controlled by Vanko. Its pack with amazing fight scenes including Scarlett's moves as she disarmed guards and knocked them out in Hammer's facility, ang ganda niya talaga with that black tight-fitting suit (*drools*). It really is a fun movie because of the humors lalo na kapag si Robert Downey Jr. ang nagbitiw, tipong seryoso pero nagpapatawa na pala. Magaling din ang pagkakaportray ni Mickey Rourke as the villain na parang hippie-rockstar dahil sa buhok na me highlights at pulubi dahil sa maduming kuko. Don Cheadle replaces Terrence Howard from the first film as James Rhodes. I would say that its better to put Terrence back, not that I'm not impressed on how Cheadle acts but the role fits Terrence perfectly than Cheadle.

My take on this: overall, the movie was great and it surpassed the first one. Kudos to IRON MAN 2! Two thumbs up!

jejemon craze

JEJEMON
1. Usually seen around social networking sites such as Friendster and Multiply, jejemons are individuals with low IQs who spread around their idiocy on the web by tYpFing LyK diZS jejejeje, making all people viewing their profile raise their eyebrows out of annoyance. Normal people like you and me must take a Bachelor of Arts in Jejetyping in order to understand said individuals, as deciphering their text would cause a lot of frustration and hair pulling.
CAUTION: THESE INDIVIDUALS ARE BREEDING! THEY CAN BE SEEN WRECKING GRAMMATICAL HAVOC ON FACEBOOK TOO!

2. Jejemons are not just confined to trying-hard Filipino gangsters and emos. A Jejemon can also include a variety of Latino-Hispanic fags who enjoy typing "jejejejeje" in a wider context, much to the disdain of their opponents in an internet MMORPG game such as Ragnarok andn DOTA.

3. Basically anyone with a low tolerance in correct punctuation, syntax and grammar. Jejemons are usually hated or hunted down by Jejebusters or the Grammar Nazis to eradicate their grammatical ways.
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=jejemon

Jejemon - is basically a variation of homo sapiens sub-species Jeje that originates in the Asia-Pacific island nation the Philippines.
Jejes - are the pure and original form and is claimed to have originated in what we know today as Latin America.
Jejemonus Filiponensis - Jejemons' scientific name
Jejebet - is a combination of the English alphabet and counting numbers which, in a strange mix of character substitution, surprisingly makes words that are understandable only to the Jejes and Jejeologists
Jejeologists - normal people that study Jejemons
Jejeientists - normal people that study Jeje sciences
Jejebusters - normal people that act to eradicate the Jejemon population, also known as Grammar Nazis
Jejenism - the Jejemon religion; not to be confused with Jejemonism
Jejemonism - the belief that Jejemons are superior than normal people
Jejenese language - speaking language of Jejemons together with the Jejebet

HAVE YOU RECEIVED A text message like this: “Eow PowZ, mUsZtAh nHa?” If so, most likely you’ve had a “Jejemon” experience. It isn’t a new breed of Pokemon that Ash and Misty have found. This terminology has been popping up everywhere even in Facebook.

The Jejenese is not just confined to Pinoy Jejemons. Just before I wrote this, I played “Warcraft” and found a European opponent who enjoys typing “jejejeje” in a very wide context, much to my disdain as he sabotages my online quests. Another group of foreign Jejemons, although their Jejemonism seems so trivial to actually classify them as Jejemons, are the Thais who type “hahaha” this way: “5555.”

You will see a lot of these in your Thai friend’s Facebook status messages. Since, the number 5 translates to “ha” in Thai, as explained by my friend Pakorn Dokmai. I’m sure many of you have personal encounters with other foreign Jejemons, be in Manila or abroad. So we can assume that Jejemon is a worldwide phenomenon.
